27th January South-East/London Anti-Fracking Gathering

Hi South-East Anti-Frackers!
We really hope someone from your Group will be able to make it on the 27th January to:-

When: 10am-5pm, Saturday, 27th January (please bring your own lunch/food to share)

As Fracking in the South East of England is starting to hot up, London Rising Tide and Reclaim the Power (London) are getting together comrade activists in London and the South East with those already working near local sites to discuss how we can best support local communities in opposing the fracking threat throughout 2018 and beyond. Following a brief update on the state of play from those already involved at each site, we will provide an opportunity to discuss how people in cities and towns within the region can provide support to communities on the front line of the struggle, and how we can best communicate urgent call outs for people to help.
They'll also be plenty of time for people to break off into smaller groups and make plans for the new year, ranging from direct action to fundraising for front line protection camps. If you are up for doing stuff at the various sites and/or contribute in other ways then this is for you!. This will NOT be an opportunity for people to just update themselves if they can't commit to getting involved, as there will be too limited a space for that alone.

Please let us know via the RSVP email NILS.RESPONSE@RISEUP.NET AND LET US KNOW WHICH SITE AND/OR WHICH GROUP/ORGANISATION YOU'LL BE REPRESENTING (or attending as an individual) and we'll respond with a more detailed agenda in due course, but if there's anything you think it would be useful to discuss, please let us know.
